Sonic.exe is also a master manipulator, as he was able to manipulate both Kyle and Tom into playing the game, as well as being the leader of the Cult of X, pointing to him being quite charismatic as well. He takes sadistic pleasure in creating chaos and misery, as well as tormenting and abusing his victims, torturing them in their sleep by invading their dreams to warn them of his coming presence. A literal and metaphorical monster, Sonic.exe's overall goal is to conquer everything in sight no matter how many innocent lives he has to sacrifice in order to achieve what he wants. An anarchist by nature, Sonic.exe strays from the original Sonic the Hedgehog's jovial and heroic personality and instead being known for his unrelenting sadism and psychopathic nature, preferring to mentally torture and degrade his victims before robbing them of their souls and freedom. The personification and literal physical incarnation of insanity and evil itself, Sonic.exe is warped, vicious, sadistic, ruthless, heartless and incredibly cruel. And all of his victims, including Tails, Knuckles, Robotnik and possibly Kyle, are just his little toys, and the game is the very gateway into his chaotic, nightmarish world and the very Hell his victims are trapped in. This Sonic was a monster, a pure evil, sadistic, all-powerful, nightmarish, demented monster. In his true form, Sonic.exe appears as a sentient mass of dark matter with two red eyes. His gloves are fingerless with purple lining on the finger holes, and the cuffs are large and cup-shaped, similar to Tails' glove cuffs but without the straps. Each boot has two belts on the back and purple lights under the heel and sole, indicating the presence of an anti-gravity device. His boots are knee-high and have a gothic design. Exe also wears a black and gold-lined cloak around his waist, held up by a black leather belt with a red "X" buckle. The emblem resembles a blue demonic smiley face with four large red ribbons forming an "X". The suit has a black fur collar around the neck that leads to an emblem of his own design. He wears a signature outfit consisting of a purple and black sleeveless, short-legged, skin-tight spandex suit. In his True EXE form, he transforms into a bulky demon. This form is utilized towards the end of the Creepypasta. In his plush form, he takes the exact appearance of a regular Sonic plush, except for his bloodstained red eyes with bloodstains beneath them. He also has a large red "X" mark on his abdomen. In his Dark EXE form, he appears grayish black with static effects running through him. In his semi-disguised form, he undergoes changes that are similar to his disguised form and physical form. When Sonic.exe is in his disguised form, he looks very accurate, except for his noticeably sharp white teeth. Apart from the blood, there's also a faint but visible rash under his eyes from crying an excessive amount of blood. This is actually a major birthmark, as his eyes hurt greatly when he was born. Interestingly, Exe always seems to have blood under his eyes, even when he's not crying. His eyes are pitch black with two glowing red dots as irises and very small pupils. When he smiles, his mouth unnaturally widens and reveals yellow, fanged teeth (Sir JC explained that the yellow color is not due to tooth decay, but a side effect from when he was created). His fur is darker and he wears black and has either red or gray shoes. Naturally, the Demonic Sonic has clunky quotes that have become staples among creepypasta posters on the internet, such as “I am GOD!”, or “Hello, do you want to play with me?” which he asks Tails when he first discovers him in the story, or even the super-tryhard “You’re too is almost identical to the original Sonic, but there are some noticeable differences. From there, the story goes in the predictable creepypasta direction, but that image of Sonic has become iconic on the internet over the years. Most notably, the Sonic on the title screen will turn into the famous creepypasta version, with black bleeding eyes, red pupils, and a sharp-toothed grin. The story then goes that when you try to play the game, it will seem normal at first, but something will go wrong and everything will turn demonic. The story, published sometime in 2011, tells of a cursed or haunted CD-ROM with just “Sonic.EXE” written on it. In either case, one inspired the other, and soon enough a creepy meme was born. There is still some debate about which came first - the creepypasta story or the edited image of a demonic Sonic.
